Sweater Weather

Happy 2018 everyone! Hope you guys had a wonderful holiday season. I've been mia for a little while as I was recovering from catching the flu (which totally sucked btw) and boy was this strain not playing with my body! It literally took me a week and a half to recover and I am still carrying a slight cough from it.

Since the weather has been oh so sucky in Dallas lately (thanks to my buddy Jack Frost), outfits like jeans, a chunky & cozy sweater, and knee-high boots have been a go-to lately. For me, not only is it a super easy outfit to just throw on, I love how effortlessly put together I feel when I wear outfits like this one.

This natural white sweater is such a great piece to have because I love that it is so big and cozy, and the fact that it has a high stand-up collar and long sleeves, definitely keeps me warm – which I love! The natural white color does go with any color jeans; I opted for black jeans, knee-high brown boots, my new favorite Marc Jacobs Gotham Crossbody purse, and added a pop of color with these red Criselda ball earrings.

This look is such an easy and effortless outfit to throw on when you don’t want to think about what to wear in the frigid cold weather … I swear I wear something like this at least 3 times a week. Have a great week everyone! -xo Mel
