'Wonder Woman' Everyday Cosplay
Another year of San Diego Comic Con is now in the books, and it brought everything you’d expect from a four-day celebration of geek culture. There were costumes, announcements, and incredible new trailers, amazing cosplayers, and intriguing immersive experiences. It’s always exciting and fun, but it’s also crowded, which adds a hint of frustration into the mix. But we survived all four days, and can’t wait to go back next year. It is starting to become our yearly vacation spot for my daughter and I. Stay tuned for a full recap of our whole experience of 2017 San Diego Comic Con coming soon on the blog.
I wanted to share my ‘Wonder Woman’ everyday cosplay that I wore exactly last Thursday #TBT. I just fell in love with this effortless romper style from Hot Topic. This DC Comics Wonder Woman Themyscria romper from Her Universe gives a hint to the Amazon Princess without having to go full out cosplay for those not comfortable with dressing up. This tan challis romper is based on the training attire Diana wore at her home in Themyscira and is worthy of an Amazonian warrior. It features a faux leather front and back yoke, with a keyhole front detailing and a top-stitched bodice. The elastic waist gives it a more flattering fit, and it's finished off with pockets and a hidden back zipper. I paired it with a Wonder Woman Tiara that I found off Etsy, Soludos Leather Criss Cross Slip On Sandal which made walking around so comfortable, and my Gorjana ‘Chloe’ Mini Strand Necklace. It was a big hit at this year’s San Diego Comic Con and was so easy to wear through the massive crowd on the streets and inside the Convention Center. This romper is a great addition to My Everyday Lifestyle. Enjoy! -xo Mel
