Commissary in LA

While in LA, me and @apearlkindofgirl stumbled across this cute and stylish restaurant right in our own hotel at The Line Hotel in Koreatown. Commissary, Chef Roy Choi’s restaurant is located in a greenhouse complete with hanging plants, communal tables, and an outside lounge area on the hotel’s rooftop directly in front of the pool. Such a fun concept idea with old school glassware, fun chinaware and long tables, so that you are able to share across the table like a true family-style setting should be. We ended up doing brunch early before we took off back to Dallas and it was such a relax environment as the sun came up and there's something magical about brunching in a rooftop greenhouse in the middle of Downtown LA. It definitely has a hipster vibe as seen by the mismatch napkin rings and dishes, which makes for a unique dining experience.

Overall, I recommend this amazing restaurant to anyone who is in LA and wants a really good meal with a greenhouse ambiance! Have a great Wednesday. – xo Mel
