Ático Ft. Worth - Rooftop Tapas Bar

Atico brings some Barcelona flair deep in the heart of the Fort Worth stockyards. Chef Tim Love brings Spanish tapas to Fort Worth. Though Ático has a sizeable menu of Spanish dishes inspired by a trip Love took to Spain, Chef Time Love intended to be more of a bar than a restaurant. Notably, there’s not a single traditional dinner table. The cozy room is full of couches, low tables and patio seats with gorgeous views of Fort Worth from on high. The service was also attentive and friendly.

All of the food is meant for sharing, and most dishes are made with just a few simple ingredients. A selection of dips includes smoked hummus; chicken-liver mousse; and smoked trout. The flatbreads, called Catalan cocas, could be good for a group. Their drink selections are amazing as well. I got the traditional Sangria and it tasted just right. My daughter and I got their appetizer Chiprones: battered and deep-fried baby squid or very small cuttlefish. It was so yummy! For our meal, we shared their Wood-Roasted Whole Branzino fish, salas, herbs and creme fraiche, and Mariah was so satisfied. Think she really ate most of it. When we got our checks, they presented us with dessert cotton candy in the cutest setting.

I highly recommend Atico if you are in Fort Worth. It is definitely a drive, but it’s worth the adventure.

Ático is located at 2315 N. Main St., Fort Worth (on the sixth floor of Springhill Suites by Marriott in the Fort Worth Stockyards). It’s open in the evenings only, Monday through Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday. Valet parking available at the hotel. A dedicated elevator will take guests from the ground floor to the rooftop.
