Red Cozy Sweater

A sweater, black leggings, and ankle boots have been my go-to uniform since the end of November. I mean the combination is not only classic, but it is really quite comfortable.

I snagged this balloon sleeve ruffle sweater in red at Express (currently on sale) and got it in a medium for more of a baggy fit. I absolutely love the color red not only because it is my sorority color, but the fact it such a beautifully bold statement color. I have to say that although I was not sure how much wear I would actually get out of this cozy red sweater, it is definitely going to be on repeat, especially when the temperatures drop. It literally goes with every shade of dark denim and leggings and I just adore the balloon sleeve look a lot lately and the coziness of it is an extra bonus!

I cannot wait to continue to wear it throughout February … especially around Valentine's day (if it's still cold by then, of course). Dang you Texas weather!
