A Day to Play Dress Up: Fan Expo Dallas 2015

Even through the countless rain and storms we been having in Dallas lately, what a great Saturday to spend being surrounded with what we love the most – Comics. Fan Expo Dallas 2015 (Dallas version of Comic Con) hit the Dallas Convention Center this past weekend. It was a time to play dress up with my daughter, as Mario and her DIY version of the modern day Princess Peach. From dozens of media, comic guests, even the originator Stan Lee, hundreds of exhibitors, artist booths, modern collectibles, comic books and artwork and topping off with the amazing cosplay, this was a great day to sight see and just be us. This year had to have drawn in tens of thousands of fans ready to just be their favorite super hero/villain.

Comics has taken over as one of the biggest trends, even taking over the box office with it's countless of #1 movie spots, making it ok to be a "GEEK". Me and my daughter's love for comics & video games – makes attending Comic Con one of our favorite things to do every year in Dallas. Here are a couple of shots from Saturday's event. Enjoy!
