What is the Nae Nae? Latest Dance Craze
If anyone has been watching March Madness this past weekend, everyone probably have heard how Mercer 'the underdogs' beat out No. 3 seed Duke. But that wasn't what stole the show, it was guard Kevin Canevari with his victory dance as he was full of excitement at the end that has everyone talking. What was he doing anyways? He was dropping that Nae Nae. (Dance created by Atlanta's We Are Toonz).
The dance actually became popular late last year and has been blowing up on YouTube. Probably now the next Harlem Shake. It's started to become the victory dance of a lot of athletes like Dwight Howard and Michigan State University football players as they celebrated their Rose Bowl win. Even JLO dances to it in her latest video, "l Luh Ya Papi". Based on the character Sheneneh Jenkins from the 90's sitcom Martin, it's a pretty simple dance move, even the little kids are doing it.
Thank to Kevin Canevari for introducing the Nae Nae to the rest of the world that's been out the loop. (Like Me). Got me doing the Nae Nae ... Huahhhhh -x o Mel
