Weekend Recap: Lights All Night 2014

This past weekend, I got to attend the largest EDM festival in Dallas, Lights All Night, held at the Dallas Convention Center. This 2 day festival, drawing in about 40,000 people from across the world per night was a sight to see. It brought in some of the best DJs across the world like Crizzly, Skrillex, Paper Diamonds, The Chainsmokers, Disclosure, Armin Van Burren and more. Spinning the greatest house, trance, trap, hip-hop you couldn't but help feel the beat through your body and the light shows beaming across the convention was amazing to see. I grew up listening to EDM house/trance music from back in the days of New York (blame my uncle & aunt because that's all they listen to) and my love for the music has never stop.

Embracing the cold this past Saturday night with my uncle and one of my besties, we went to see the best DJ in the world Saturday night – Armin Van Burren. He is by far the best DJ I have seen. With close to 2 hours of non-stop beat drops & trance music, I can clearly see and hear why is the #1 DJ. What an amazing sight, 20,000 people jumping and dancing off his beat. Close to the end he had the whole entire room "sit down" and than jump when he brought in the beat. Amazing night, amazing music, amazing people to ring in the New Year.
